Cochin- Athirapally- Munnar Tour Package

Day 01: Cochin

Pickup up from Cochin Airport / Railway Station and proceed to hotel / homestay. After breakfast, visit Fort kochi– a different view-a different culture-takes you to a different time period. Fort kochi is one of the main tourist attractions in kochi. It has many things to attract the tourists-The beach (Known to be the Queen of Arabian Sea), Mattanchery Palace, The local stalls in the streets of Fortkochi, handicraft shops, markets with fresh fishes are caught and sold, Art galleries, Churches, Kathakali Performances..etc. After lunch, move to Marine Drive to enjoy the evenng at its best. You can have a leisure walk enjoying the beauty. If possible watch the sunset also.

Return back to the hotel / resort and have some rest.

Day 02: Cochin

After breakfast move to Chottanikara Bhagavathy Temple-dedicated to the Goddess Bhagavathy who is worshipped in 3 forms: as Saraswati in the morning, Lakshmi during the day, and Durga in the evening. The ‘Devi’ in the temple is known for the healing powers, particularly relating to mental illness and disorders. The pleasant atmosphere in the temple gives mental peace and harmony to devotees. Move to Hill Palace Museum-built in the traditional Kerala style of architecture. It offers the visitors to have a glance at the oil-paintings, murals, sculptures, manuscripts and belongings of the Kochi royal family. Hill Palace is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala. After having lunch next move to Lulu Mall, the largest and finest mall in the country-offering an all-in-one shopping, dining and entertainment experience that you ever had.

Return back to the hotel / resort and have some rest.

Day 03: Athirapally

After breakfast proceed to Athirapally Waterfalls (also known as “Niagara Falls of India”), the stunning waterfalls which is like a gift from nature is one of the main tourist attractions. To reach the waterfalls we have to take a short walk through the Athirapally Forest. Many endangered and endemic species of flora and fauna are found in the forest. After reaching the waterfalls the view of having a combination of greenery with the crystal clear water is just tremendous. A perfect destination for the trekking and nature loving people. The waterfalls here flow through the Vazhachal forest toward the Arabian Sea. After lunch if time permits we can also visit the Vazhachal Waterfalls, which is also a famous tourist spot.

Day 04 : Munnar

After breakfast, move to Munnar. On the route visit one of the most enchanting Waterfalls in Kerala-Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the Kochi-Madhurai Highway (NH 49). After reaching Munnar have a freshup and then let’s go to Blossom Hydel Park-just 3 kms away from Munnar Town.Best place for nature lovers- a colorful park with rich beautiful flowers and greenery. It offers adventure trails, boating, nature walks, bird watching with facilities for cycling, roller skating, badminton as well.

Return back to the hotel / resort.

Day 05: Munnar

After breakfast have a ride to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) – a magnificent view of rare species of Nilgiri Tahr, or visit Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary which is also a part of Eravikulam National Park. After Lunch, proceed to Mattupetty Dam, Kunadala Lake and Eco Point,to have a beautiful view of Munnar and experience it with boating. Evening visit to the Lakkam Waterfalls, one of the most preferred destinations chosen by the tourists.

Back to hotel / resort.

Day 06: Munnar/ Cochin

After breakfast drop to Cochin Railway Station / Airport.
